I live in the Atlanta area which is flooding as I write this review. I ordered this and got it 2 days later. Didn't read the instructions as it was very intuitive. Was able to hook a garden hose and divert water out of my car port. Also planning on using it in my crawl space. It's muddy (clay) here in Georgia and it didn't get clogged. I got this to replace a cdu800 that had been broken. This one is much quieter than that one. It is also much more effective, meaning that it goes off less and gets rid of the water faster than the old one. I would definitely recommend to one to other people. Finaly had to replace my Zoeller M53-D pump after 12+ years of service, actually didn't realy replace it just bought another one, I will put a new switch in the old and keep as a spare. We have a very high water table here and the pump runs every 2-3 minutes most of the year. You won't find a much better pump out there that can run like this for 12+ years and only need a $20 switch. Oil filled for long life, quiet and reliable. I'll never run anything other than Zoeller.
